Mary Francis and Garrett had the most carefree Charleston Engagement session ever. From the mossy oak trees to sunset by the water, we made sure to scoop up all Charleston had to offer.

We started their session at Legare Waring House, because they adore the greenery there. We made sure to squeeze in all of my favorites. You can never go wrong with iron gates and Spanish moss!

After getting our fill of dreamy southern landscapes, we made our way downtown for the second part of the day.

When we first started chatting about locations for Mary Francis and Garrett’s engagement session, Mary Francis mentioned that they loved ice cream. We decided it would be really fun to incorporate a quick ice cream stop into their session. EnterJeni’s!

Bring on The Cobblestone

After finishing a sweet treat, we made our way into the heart of downtown Charleston for the final piece of their engagement session. Mary Francis changed into the CUTEST yellow dress that was the perfect complement to all of the colors of downtown Charleston. All of her dresses for the occasion we perfect, but I especially loved this pop of color!

To end the evening of strolling through Charleston and ice cream, we made our way to my favorite spot downtown. It’s just so dreamy right at dusk, and I love that you can be right on the water and see the bridge in the background. I can’t think of a more romantic way to end an evening!
