You all know how much I love a seaside wedding, and this beachy Seabrook Island Club Wedding brought all the right vibes!
Seabrook Island SC Wedding
The ALP team and I had the most amazing time at this Seabrook Island, SC, wedding with Jordan and Adam. Their wedding day was full of the most sentimental details and a preppy flair. Seabrook Island Club was the perfect destination. Every single corner offered another picture-perfect portrait location.
From the moment I walked into the bridesmaid sweet for getting ready details, I felt so welcomed and loved by everyone in the room. This crew was truly one of the kindest wedding parties I’ve ever met.
The bride shared a first look with her father shortly after getting ready, and it was so sweet. Jordan lost her mother not too long ago, and the little pieces of the wedding day to make sure she was honored were so meaningful.
Jordan chose to honor her mom by placing flowers in the seat she would have sat in at the ceremony. I know the bride and her family felt her presence there that day.
The ceremony was BEAUTIFUL right in front of the beach on Seabrook Island, followed by impromptu sunset photos on the beach. We had scheduled sunset photos later in the evening, but when we looked out over the beach after the ceremony, we knew it was perfect timing. We went right over for some sandy, barefoot portraits of Jordan and Adam before sending them off to their reception.
The cocktail hour took place on the club’s front porch, followed by the bride and groom intros and their first dance. They even took dance lessons ahead of time so they could really wow their wedding guests. The song they chose was beautiful, performed by their violinist. It was a memorable moment for sure!
A Special Tribute
Then, Jordan’s father surprised her during her father-daughter dance by placing a clip of Jordan’s mother’s voice speaking to her in an old home video at the very beginning. I don’t think there was a dry eye anywhere in the room.
He followed it with a perfect speech about the “epic” day. This wedding day was a great and emotional one for sure! It was an absolute honor to document this special day for this family!
