Where do I even begin with this Airport-Inspired Wedding Editorial? JUST A DREAM. I’m truly still at almost a loss for words when thinking back on this day and all of the talented creatives who brought it all together! Saying it was a dream team is an understatement, and the memories and laughs were priceless. I’m thrilled to share just a tiny part of this day with you here!
An Airport-Inspired Wedding Editorial
A Moi had a vision for this editorial to be carefree and fun, and it was exactly that. Every detail was immaculate, and we all had the most fun working together to document all the beauty. Admittedly an editorial like this has always been something I’ve wanted to do, so I was beyond thrilled Amber and Carilee asked me to participate!
As vendors, we were given the freedom to be creative with the somewhat blank slate of the runway, and it was a recipe for so much delicious imagery (and experience) as the outcome. There’s really nothing better than your team having complete trust in your vision and expertise.
Every Delicious Detail
Lexington County Airport was the backdrop of this wedding day scene, and it was perfection. Unfussy and precisely what we needed. The red and white plane we used throughout was also so beautiful. We loved the pop of red and how it brought out the pink tones in the images.
Miles Film Co created a film from the day (you can find a snippet here), and they were so fun to work with. The models were just the dreamiest and brought us both the playful and reserved side of wedded bliss. We couldn’t have asked for more.
The dress was stunning, provided by Elizabeth Cole Bridal, and the perfect pair with Becca Zorn Designs gorgeous bouquet in florals the shade of the sunset that would come later in the day.
Be sure you make it all the way through to peep the champagne toast and a bit of fun with flash after the sun went down.
