This was the most beautiful and vibrant winter wedding in the heart of Sumter, SC. I had the best time working with Holly and James, and I’m so thrilled to share more with you from their big day!
A Vibrant Winter Wedding
Typically, my favorite seasons for weddings are spring and summer. The florals are always so lovely, and the weather is generally pretty predictable before those scorcher days in June and July. But this winter wedding was every bit as beautiful and full of color as a spring or summer wedding!
A Pop of Color
I love that Holly chose to use her favorite color throughout the day and went bold with pops of bright pink. She wore the most perfect pair of strappy heels in her signature color, and her ring box was also super unique. They even decorated a handful of Christmas trees with pink flowers to celebrate the season.
I loved how these two paid such special attention to the small details of the day. The groom’s cufflinks were so delicate and beautiful and a special nod to one of his favorite hobbies.
Holly also used bright pink as the primary color for all her florals created by her soon-to-be mother-in-law! She even made some bright pink Santa hats for the reception.
Location Details
Holly and James decided on the location of the farm that James works on as their reception location. They both loved the space and thought it would be the perfect setting, and they were so right!
In addition to all the pink, the couple incorporated a few of James’ favorite things, too! He wanted an ice sculpture, and the planner brought his vision to life with a tractor filled with florals. Upon arrival into the light-filled tent, guests were greeted with “His” and “Hers” cocktails and a drink tower.
