Intimate Charleston Engagement Session

Curtis-Lynne and Brent will soon be exchanging vows in Sumter, and it was such a treat to start the experience with engagement photos in some of their favorite Charleston spots.

We started their engagement session at the Pitt Street Bridge in the Old Village of Mount Pleasant. The skies were overcast, and it had the most beautiful effect on the final look of the images. I love that they chose this location, and it was so fun including their adorable dogs in their portraits.

Next, we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to use Downtown Charleston as a backdrop for part of their session. Curtis-Lynne chose the most beautiful, flirty dress for the occasion. Brent wore a perfectly tailored blue suit, and they both looked gorgeous in some of my all-time favorite downtown spots. The pink backdrop might be my favorite, but the cobblestone street came in a close second.

Curtis-Lynne and Brent loved the idea of photos on the water, so we made sure to make our way over! It was so fun getting images with perfect views of the bridge in the background.

Under the Oak Trees

It started to drizzle on us on the way to our last location, but fortunately, with all of the massive oak trees at Legare Waring, we were completely dry the entire session.

Curtis-Lynne changed into her third look of the day, and the color choice was beyond perfect. It’s quite possibly my favorite dress for an engagement. The fabric was also perfect for photos by the pond at Legare Waring. How dreamy is the Spanish moss?
