This elevated City Hall elopement hosted by Meghan Baskin was an absolute dream! The entire team was such a delight, and I’m so excited to share more of this special day with you!
Elevated City Hall Elopement
Where do I even begin? This styled session was stunning. Every detail, from the pastel bouquet to the sweet visit from the Pink Figgy, was so fun to photograph.
Carters Even Co and Meghan brought together some of the most amazing creatives right in the heart of downtown Charleston for a wonderful group of photographers. The theme of the editorial was a color-filled elopement in some of the most iconic locations in Charleston.
Salt + Stem did a truly incredible job of bringing the lushness of spring into the design with the most beautiful bouquet. We made sure to really let her have a moment, and it couldn’t have been more perfect.
The models were an actual couple, AND the bride is a photographer. I loved that she was not only an amazing model but was also able to bring a creative mindset to the session as well.
The bride wore a short, show-stopping gown by Sachin and Babi and effortless hair and make-up by Jacquelyn Adams and Air MakeUp CHS.
Roaming Downtown Charleston
This session was also my first time shooting with the Pink Figgy, an adorable pink convertible. I loved how it added an extra pop of color to the shoot in the iconic St Michael’s Alley. The color of the car brought out the pink element from other parts of the day, like our time photographing the bride near the Mills House Hotel.
Creatively I loved so much about this session. The entire day felt light and carefree, just going through the streets of Charleston. While photographing, we stopped wherever our hearts desired since there was no need to fluff a big gown.
The carefree vibe allowed all the photographers present to stop and use their creative minds to focus on each shot’s composition. I couldn’t be more thrilled with how the day unfolded.
