SO pumped to finally get to share this bridal session. This bridal session is far more special than any regular one. This bridal session is special because I’ve known Katie for 25 years. We have been through so many seasons of life together. She asked me to take her engagement and bridal portraits which was a TOTAL honor.

Whenever a bride asks if she can bring her dog along to her bridal session, the answer is always OF COURSE. In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever been more jealous of a client before. I wanted to go home, put back on my wedding gown, grab the pups and have someone take pictures of me! So thankful Emily brought along her pup but also look at what a stunner she is. She was also a trooper trekking all over the State House grounds in her gown on an unseasonably warm day in the Fall.

So excited I am getting around to catching up on blogs because of sessions like this from the Fall. Alison and Taylor got married back in November but here are a few of her bridals. Honestly, she is SO incredibly stunning from head to toe. The lighting was also GORGEOUS at 1912 Bed and Breakfast that afternoon. You can’t beat pictures beneath oak trees!

YAY! Finally getting to share Bekah’s bridals with everyone! The thing about bridals is that they are typically scheduled months in advance but you can never 100% count on weather cooperating. Fortunately for Bekah, the rain held off. We were both probably a nervous wreck the entire day. When I arrived in Florence for the session, there was a 100% chance of rain but it wasn’t raining yet. The skies were scary dark but the SECOND we started the session, the clouds moved away. It was such a blessing and I’m so glad we were able to get some pictures at the end with some sunshine even!

This session was a dream! I have always wanted to do a session at 701 Whaley so whenever the pollen in Columbia was OUT of control, we searched around for indoor venues for Mickie’s bridal session. Fortunately, Mickie and Austyn were getting married at 701 so we were able to book 701 for her bridals easily.

Mickie’s dress was STUNNING and I will forever love these pictures!

A few days prior to this session with Tessa, the forecast started to look a little scary. There was rain forecasted all day with a particularly high percentage around the time of her session in Aiken. Fortunately, she prayed ALL day for great weather and her prayers were answered! The second we pulled up to Hopeland Gardens the rain stopped. In fact, it held off until the second we got back in my car to leave after the session was over.

Let me give you a little background on this beauty here. I met Sara through Matt after we started dating because, at the time, she was dating Matt’s close friend Grant (who is now her husband, don’t worry it’s a happy story). From the very beginning Sara was incredibly kind and considerate. Matt would always talk so highly about both Grant and Sara. In fact, the day after Matt and I met, he went to a basketball game with these two mysterious people.
