Rachel and Kristin are sisters who I had the pleasure of photographing alongside their families. I was able to capture both of these families together so that they could share the pictures with parents and grandparents. Rachel is married to Wes and together they have 4 amazing and fun children – Caleb, Evan, Andrew and Amelia. Kristin is married to Phillip and they recently had a precious little boy with the sweetest smile named Isaac.

Over the past decade, my family dynamic has changed. Either through step family or through acquiring in-laws, we have slowly evolved into a different family than we were 15 years ago but in the best way. This has also changed our family vacations, causing for our small crowd of 4 to grow to a crowd of 12.

Haley’s session was first up during my trip to Mullins so it was still relatively early in the evening at the time that we took her pictures but she handled the heat like a champ. In fact, she looked absolutely stunning. The pink maxi dress she wore for some of her pictures = heart eyes emoji. But seriously, I had so much fun taking this girl’s pictures!

I don’t know many people that love Sunday as much as my husband, Matt. He spends most days during the week waking up at 4:30 so to sleep in until 7 on a Sunday is a luxury. Add in some quiet time in the morning spent while I’m getting ready for church and you’ve got the making of the perfect day. This Sunday, he decided to take Brinkley to the river to explore more of this city we call “home.” I tagged along and took some pictures of their adventuring.

I am very fortunate to be surrounded by a ton of creative and driven people – one of them being my sister, Kelly. She is an extremely talented designer – in fact, I actually used to be an intern at the advertising agency where she used to work and on my lunch break, I would literally just watch her work. One day, it could have been an email banner, the next it could have been an entire website re-design. And I would just sit there, completely mesmerized. So whenever it came time for me to create a logo for a photography business I’ve wanted to launch for years, I luckily didn’t have to look far.
