Rachel and Kristin are sisters who I had the pleasure of photographing alongside their families. I was able to capture both of these families together so that they could share the pictures with parents and grandparents. Rachel is married to Wes and together they have 4 amazing and fun children – Caleb, Evan, Andrew and Amelia. Kristin is married to Phillip and they recently had a precious little boy with the sweetest smile named Isaac.

We decided to take pictures at the Horseshoe on the University of South Carolina campus in Columbia, SC not just because of it’s obvious beauty (I may be a little biased) but also because Wes, Rachel and Kristin all graduated from USC.

It’s always nice to take a trip back to campus to reminisce but this time was a little sweeter than normal for me. Why? Rachel and Kristin actually used to babysit us Johnson kids way back when. I can remember looking up to both of them when I was younger so now having the opportunity to photograph their families after all these years made this visit to campus beyond special. Watching them raise their own children is really incredible. If they were able to handle Kelly, Michael and I decades ago, then these sweet children are definitely a piece of cake.
