For the past few years, Mary and I have gone to the SC State Fair together. Shout out to her aunt who provides us with tickets and ride passes each year! Things have changed some since we started going and we’ve added a couple more guys to the mix 😉 but I love these memories with my sweet friend and look forward to this day each October. Last year Mary and Zach had just started dated and this year, they are just one week away from their wedding.

I used to work with Brodie in college at Todd & Moore Sporting Goods but recently met Aubrey, prior to their engagement, at a wedding for a mutual friend. She’s the kind of person you can instantly connect with and is very easy to talk to. By the end of the conversation at the wedding, it felt like I had known her equally as long as Brodie. Whenever I found out they were engaged, I was thrilled whenever Aubrey reached out to me for engagement pictures. I was even more thrilled that she wanted to take pictures at the Horseshoe and even MORE thrilled she wanted to bring their two dogs.

If you don’t follow me on social media or have been living under a rock (I’ve been blowing up all forms of social media but I’m not apologizing), then you might not know but about a month and a half ago, Matt and I drove to Athens, TN to pick up this lil pup. Shout out to Weston’s Golden Retrievers. So meet the newest addition to the Talley fam, Scout. She’s full of energy and is already best friends with Brinkley. They take naps together, run around the house chasing each other (in fact, they are doing that right now) and play tug-of-war for hours. We love having two pups in the house and can’t wait for many more adventures!

Have you ever met someone that you instantly knew you could be really good friends with? Someone who just had something that immediately made you feel like you had made a new friend? We connect over things like The Office, Taylor Swift’s “Red” album, Jenna Kutcher, etc. She has the most kind heart and has a deep passion for creativity. Back in June, I had the privilege of being the second shooter for my mother-in-law, Carla Talley, at the Gould wedding in Sumter, SC. The hardest part of the entire experience was trying to stop myself from dancing on the dance floor during the reception. The entire day was fun, carefree and lively. You could tell Stephanie and Phillip were so thrilled that this day had finally arrived.

The hardest part about posting this blog was narrowing down the pictures of my favorites. Mason was all smiles the enter time so this kid is pretty much a baby MODEL. The session was at Furman University in Greenville, SC – which if you’ve never been…run, don’t walk. From the bell tower to the oak-lined entrance, the campus is stunning.

You may notice this cute lil family from last Fall. I did a family session with these 3 when Isaac was much smaller – he was barely walking at the time. During this session, he was singing Sunday school songs and marching around. Kristin babysat me as a child so I was thrilled whenever she asked me to take maternity pictures for her before they became a family of 4. I love getting to watch her family grow!

So much love for this sweet family! Lindsey and Dustin are amazing parents to their newborn Weston. You can tell that this happy baby is so blessed and loved by everyone around him. And Weston’s nursery is filled with so many family heirlooms like a rocking chair that was Lindsey’s dads when he was a child or a hutch that Lindsey repurposed that had been in her family for years. It was all so sweet and meaningful.

Hannah just recently graduated from Spring Hill High School and a little bit before her high school graduation, I got to take some pictures of her at the gardens surrounding the Lace House. She sported a t-shirt with her soon-to-be college mascot and you could tell she was so excited for what was to come at Winthrop. Hannah actually moved into her dorm last weekend – I’m only a little bit behind on blogging, y’all.

I am so excited to share these pictures of Matt & Tessa. These two are some really great friends but even more, they are incredible people. I have known both of them since high school and like most high school friendships, there is something to be said about friendships with roots like that. I’ve had the opportunity to see these two grow and change so much throughout the years. Our conversations are no longer about college courses or high school teachers, but about Jesus and marriage and careers. Likewise, Matt and Tessa started dating in college so they have been through so much throughout the years together.
