I hope you have all had a wonderful start to your new year. I am so excited to return from maternity leave and continue sharing some of our favorite Columbia and Lowcountry weddings and events with you! This week, I am sharing a stunning Forest Lake Country Club wedding!
Forest Lake Country Club Wedding
I had the most amazing time photographing this classic wedding day for Jessica and Zim. We loveeee a country club wedding and this entire day felt so fun and carefree. Plus, you know I am head over heels for their blue and white color palette with the most subtle touches of pink!
I also love any wedding I get to work on with Meagan Warren. Her team and eye for detail are divine, and she makes every wedding day feel seamless! Besides the amazing couples ALP works with, having wedding planners that we can love and trust means the world. They also help you have the most amazing day possible!
Our Favorite Details
I had more than a handful of favorite details from this beautiful day, but I couldn’t go without sharing my love for the cake table. The entire fireplace was drenched in flowers from American Floral. It was truly magical. I also loved how Jessica chose to weave in pink to their colors.
They also opted for the most fun guestbook. Instead of the traditional option, Jessica and Zim opted for an old-school phone guestbook where friends could leave them a “voicemail” for them.
Zim’s mom also contributed her talents to the day by making the most delicious cheese straw appetizers during part of the reception. It was such a fun way to show love to her favorite people by using one of her favorite recipes.
Dancing Into The Night
The Finesse Band kept everyone dancing well into the night, as usual. I love it when I see them on the vendor list for any wedding. They also often bring the wedding party on stage, adding extra fun to any event.
