These Litchfield Plantation bridal portraits have easily become some of my favorites ever. I was so thrilled Jessica chose this space for her portraits and loved the variety that just one location was able to provide for us!
Litchfield Plantation Bridal Portraits
Just half an hour from Georgetown, on Pawley’s Island, is the beautiful, historic Litchfield Plantation. Each space we chose within this home for portraits of Jessica was more beautiful than the next.
We started her session in the bridal suite, and I knew the second Jessica put on her dress, this session would be a favorite. She chose the most stunning gown with a gorgeous bow detail on the bodice. Her amazing florist created a bouquet with white sweat peas for a classic look. I loved the fireplace in the bridal suite and the mix of masculine and feminine details throughout the home.
Next, we made our way to the stairs, where we made our way to the main room with lots of blues and whites. I’m still daydreaming about that sofa. I’m a sucker for a white-and-blue moment, and it was utter perfection.
Adding Masculine Details
Afterward, we decided to pop into the groom’s room, which was decorated with many masculine touches. This space ended up being one of our favorites from the session. The window light in this space was also perfect! I loved how the moody tones really allowed the dress to pop!
Of course, near the end of our session, we had to make our way outside. I loved that we could have indoor and outdoor elements for this bridal session. The Spanish moss was so stunning, and the portraits by the water were easily some of my favorites from the day.
Jessica, you were such a stunning bride. I can’t wait to share images from her wedding day with you soon!
