It’s officially engagement season in the wedding world, and I can’t think of a better way to celebrate than sharing this gorgeous Atlanta, GA, garden engagement session.
Just after this session, Francie and Andrew had the most stunning wedding in Charleston. Before sharing images from their big day, I’m thrilled to share a handful of favorite photos from this session with you.
An Atlanta, GA, Garden Engagement
Francie and Andrew chose the gorgeous Cator Woolford Gardens in Atlanta, GA, for their engagement session, and it was the perfect backdrop for the occasion. At the time of their session, Francie and Andrew were still living in Alabama, so we decided on Atlanta as the perfect in-between point for everyone. I’m so glad we did.
Even with the cold sunrise temperatures, we were able to keep everyone cozy, and we all had the best time getting to know each other. Their engagement session was the first time I had met or even talked to them in person, and it was such a treat leaving the session feeling like we were fast friends! They were both so easy to talk to and get along with. AND neither of them complained a bit about the super cold temps that morning!
Cator Woolford Gardens was the most romantic location, and I loved the wardrobe they chose for the day. Francie wore the most gorgeous, bold, candy apple red dress after a chic black dress. Andrew kept things dapper in slacks and a sports coat.
A Tip for Your Engagement Session Wardrobe
For engagement sessions, I always recommend a wardrobe change during the middle of our sessions. Adding a wardrobe change is the perfect way to mix things up and offer one casual and one more polished look. This change will give you options when choosing photographs to print or work with later. It also gives your gallery a well-rounded feel!
