So little known fact about me – I LOVE my couples and by the time the wedding day is over, I’m so sad to not see them as much anymore. Honestly, I get a little depressed once the wedding day is over. Another fact about me is that I love hosting a party.

So whenever my business turned 5, I basically turned this into an excuse to celebrate with all of my past and future ALP couples. Matt and I hosted a little get together at our house this past Saturday with food, drinks (thanks to Sip and Saddle), a make-and-take floral bar (shout out Trader Joes) and lots of Rolos (417 to be exact). Some ALP couples couldn’t make the celebration but I was so happy that this group was able to come and entertain my idea of having a 5-year-old bday party for my business hahah.

Obviously, the idea is a little unconventional and I realize how odd it sounds but to see many of my couples in the same room was such a great feeling. Many had never met but they left with new friends! What a way to ring in 5 years!
