The ALP team had the most fantastic time photographing Rylee and Reagan’s wedding at Windy Creek Farms. There are so many beautiful options for wedding venues in the Columbia and Charleston areas, but we have a soft spot for clients who opt for something a little different to bring their wedding day dreams to life. This gorgeous piece of farmland turned wedding venue did not disappoint.
Rylee & Reagan’s Wedding at Windy Creek Farms
Rylee is my (Laura) husband’s cousin, so this wedding was extra special. I photographed the first half of the day and then got to enjoy the rest, thanks to my second Julia and her husband! My precious little one was also the flower girl. We all had the most fun helping them celebrate.
Private Residence Turned Personal Wedding Venue
Rylee knew as soon as she and Reagan were engaged that she wanted to get married at this private residence. The entire family worked SO hard to get their land ready for the wedding day. They even added a covered building for seating and cleaned up the entire property to look great on the wedding day. Post-wedding, they now use the covered area to sometimes host pickleball tournaments for the family.
Classic Blue and White Wedding Color Palette
You all know how much we love a blue-and-white wedding color palette, and this day was the perfect example of why! Their details were so fun to photograph, and we absolutely loved Rylee’s pearled gloves and Reagan’s white tux jacket. They had the sweetest first look before a handful of portraits near the pond.
The entire day was SO beautiful, and after dating since high school and Reagan even asking Rylee to marry him on this very property, it was the perfect way to celebrate their love story and marriage. We loved celebrating these two in such a special place!
