This week, we are bringing you another cozy winter wedding as we slowly look forward to changing seasons. Aurie Engel and John’s Plainsfield Plantation wedding had one of the prettiest receptions and day of details ever. The entire wedding day was such a joy, and we are beyond thrilled to share a little peek with all of you. This wedding was truly breathtaking.
Aurie Engel and John’s Plainsfield Plantation Wedding
Stunning marsh scenery, dripping Spanish moss, and gorgeous sunsets are precisely what you would expect from a Hollywood, SC, wedding. We have had the honor of making our way to the Lowcountry for many wedding days. Each time, they feel a little more special. Aurie Engel and John’s wedding day was so incredibly beautiful!
The first half of their day was filled with church portraits and their traditional wedding day. Aurie Engel’s details were so lovely, and we had the best time styling them for flat-lay images.
I love that she will be able to look back on these images decades from now and remember how special each tiny bauble was, including her signature wedding day perfume. We still aren’t over the green ribbon and how perfect it looked styled with her engagement ring and wedding band with emeralds.
Bring On The Reception Details
This wedding reception is not one we will soon forget. The bar with greenery was one of the most stunning we’ve ever seen, and we are still obsessing over the all-white florals.
White flowers are so delicate, so having a florist and planner who can bring this vision to life is special. We all loved the individual little arrangements on the longer, family-style tables.
There were so many beautiful, intentional moments on this wedding day, and it was such a joy to take part in them. We wish Aurie Engel and John all the best!
