Abby and Evan chose Charleston as the destination for their big day and traveled all the way from Colorado for the occasion! Their friends and family flew in from around the country to share this special weekend with them. They had a weekend full of fun events!
The Details
Thanks to Parte Events and Design and Wisteria Designs, the ceremony and reception locations were absolutely stunning. The entire day was full of so much beauty, and they worked hard to bring the couple’s vision to life with lots of blues and rattan. It was true perfection in wedding day form! And you all know how much I love blue and white pottery! These two chose them as their centerpieces for their ceremony filled with colorful florals, and it was stunning!
Evan and Abby’s cocktail hour was right next to the water with the prettiest sunset, where drinks were topped with the cutest dog stirrers. Their candlelit seated dinner allowed guests to relax before the party started.
The First Look & Classic Architecture
If you’ve been around here a while, you know we love a wedding day first look. And this first-look location at Legare Waring is always a winner. You really can’t beat being that close to the Ashley River for a wedding day! I always have couples sneak over to the iron gate after for a handful of portraits, and it’s always a winner. The dappled light pouring in through the ancient oak trees is stunning, even on cloudy days.
