What could be better than a Charleston sailboat elopement editorial? The only thing I can think of is the amazing team of creatives that brought it all together for a group of fellow photographers! This one was really a dream come true.
Charleston Sailboat Elopement Editorial
I’ve never done a session on a sailboat, but it was a bucket list item of mine. Once I saw this editorial coming to life courtesy of Alexis Lunsford and Shindig Co., I knew I wanted in, and I’m so glad I joined!
We started the session at a stunning Airbnb to photograph details. Every single detail the team brought together was incredible. The cake from Flower Child CHS was an absolute delight to photograph and looked so delicious. The paper goods from Glory Co were so beautiful, and I so hope we get to work together again soon!
Golden Hour on The Water
After our initial details, we made our way to the Charleston Marina to load up the sailboat from Charleston Sailing School. Floral Anthology completely decorated the front of our boat with elaborate florals. It was the most perfect backdrop for photos. The bouquet was also a show-stopper full of gorgeous blooms.
The timing of our session was just before sunset, which made for the most amazing light. Some of my favorite images from the day were right at Golden Hour. Our models were so wonderful to work with, and I loved their connection.
This editorial was so fun and carefree! I always look forward to editorials for the content but, most notably, for the vendor friends I always leave with. I also met some of the most amazing new photography friends! It was truly the most remarkable day.
