This past July, I was the second shooter for my mother-in-law, Carla Talley, for another wedding in Sumter, SC. It was so great to shoot alongside my mother-in-law again, especially with such a fun group. The day was filled with lots of excitement from beginning to end. It started with a bridal brunch and mimosas and ended with the band playing “When the Saints Go Marching In” on the trumpet as everyone marched towards the sparkler exit for Mr and Mrs Richey.
Along with all of the excitement, you could tell how much everyone truly cared about Mary Margaret and Eric. After spending the day with both of them, I can see exactly why. They both have huge hearts and it was such a pleasure to get to see this first-hand. Mary Margaret gifted her father a handkerchief with a special message on it. As she was reading it to him, he could hardly hold back tears from the heartfelt words (and honestly, I could hardly hold back my own tears). In fact, the Richey’s didn’t hold back when it came to these thoughtful moments either. Eric’s father actually took the stage with his band to play the song that Eric and his mother danced to at the reception. Another beautiful moment that they will remember forever.
Here are a few of my images from the big day. Congrats to Mary Margaret and Eric! Cheers to Mr & Mrs Richey! Thank you for allowing me to spend the day with you!
