Caroline and Joe’s Coastal Pawley’s Island Wedding was such a stunner! These two were incredible to work with, and it’s been such a joy getting to be part of this new season of their lives! We got to work with Ash Events for the first time during this wedding, and we honestly can’t say enough good things about Ashley and her team. They were beyond helpful and hands-down one of our new favorite planners to work with. I was still pregnant with our precious boy for this wedding and
Ash Events (my first time working with Ashley and her team) was beyond helpful and generous the entire day. I was pregnant at the time of photographing this wedding, and at one point, the social media assistant was holding up a fan to my face to make sure I stayed cool 🙂 What a gem!
Choosing Pawley’s Island For The Big Day
Caroline and Joe live in Charlotte together, but Caroline is from Pawley’s! I love Pawleys Island weddings because they just feel so easy and carefree.
The girls got ready at a family friend’s home so they would have plenty of space for the girls to spread out while getting ready. After adding the finishing touches, we took a trolley over the Caledonia for portraits.
I am so glad these two decided to do a first look. Wedding days can go by so quickly, and taking this special moment with just the two of you can really be such a welcome break in the day for you!
I loved seeing these two be able to let loose and just be together for a moment. They are both happy-go-lucky and laid back separately, but together, you can see how much joy they bring each other.
After the portraits, we headed to the church for the ceremony. Guests arrived in beautiful, colorful dresses -ready for the music-filled reception to follow.
This day was an absolute dream come true, and we were thrilled to be part of this celebration. Congrats, Caroline and Joe!!
