This beautiful Low Country Litchfield wedding was EVERYTHING! Jessica and Carter tied the knot on Pawley’s Island and celebrated the night away under the most perfect sailcloth tent. We had the most amazing time documenting this special day for these two wonderful people. We are thrilled to share a little snippet with you!

A Beautiful Low Country Litchfield Wedding

These two are the most happy-go-lucky couple, and their carefree wedding day was the perfect example of our favorite kinds of weddings here at ALP! Jessica was the most stunning bride, and I loved how intentional she was about choosing each detail of their day. Her dress was one of my favorite details and was absolute perfection! Jessica’s dress was so stunning paired with the blue room at Litchfield Plantation. We all gushed over the bow detail, and her updo was the perfect choice.

Planning For An Outdoor Wedding

If you’ve been around here for a while, we always encourage our brides to hope for the best but plan for the worst. This wedding day was the perfect example. Jessica and Carter had the perfect backup plan for their outdoor spring wedding. The weather can be predictably unpredictable during the spring and summer in the Lowcountry. It’s always a great idea to have a rain plan for your outdoor wedding. These two handled it perfectly with the help of their planner! The forecast for their wedding day was pretty grim, with many parts of the day having a 90% chance. Somehow, we got incredibly lucky with no rain during any portrait time. It was a perfect, beautiful day, and the only time it rained was during the bride and groom’s reception intro! But wouldn’t you know it, the night ended perfectly when the rain subsided at the end of their first dances, and there was a gorgeous rainbow! They were also gifted the most stunning sunset over the marsh we’ve ever seen!
