So do you remember the maternity session I posted a while back at the Statehouse (if not, you can view if here)? Well Karli and Andrew had their little baby Heath in January. He arrived a little later than anticipated, which I’m sure had all parties involved anxious for his arrival but fortunately, they moved into their new house with enough time to get his nursery ready (which is perfect, btw). His nursery is bear themed (WHAT!) with tons of little outdoor and animal accents. It looks like it’s straight out of my Pinterest dreams. 

Heath is also perfect. He has the prettiest blue eyes and the most animated faces. I can’t tell you how many times I said the word “aww” in the couple hours I was there (too many, for sure). Joining me at this session along with baby Heath and Karli was her mom, who after having 6 children is appropriately nicknamed “the baby whisperer.”

It was amazing to catch up with this sweet friend and meet her sweet baby. What a blessing it is to get to watch your friends experience something like becoming a mother. I have no doubt that Karli and Andrew both are/will be amazing parents.
