Cameron and Patrick’s timeless country club wedding at Quixote Club was such a joy! Their entire day was the epitome of a classic southern wedding packed full of sentimental details and family heirlooms.
After a short trek to Sumter, SC, from Columbia, I was greeted by the most lively bunch on arrival. Camerons getting ready room was visited by three sweet pups, including her dog Gibbes and her lovely and inviting wedding party!
Cameron wore her sister’s gown, designed by her sister and father for her sister’s wedding. I love that she chose to wear such a sentimental dress for her big day. Her veil was her grandmother’s and was also worn by her sister for her wedding. She decided to go a little bit edgy with her choice of shoes; it was the perfect mix of borrowed and new.
Patrick wore a tux designed by Stuart Mercer, a close relative of the bride. His details were just as thoughtful, from his classic black silk bowtie to his cufflinks with the perfect pop of color. I love when the groom’s attire is considered with just as much intention and care as the bride’s!
After a traditional ceremony at their home church, and a handful of portraits, Cameron and Patrick made their way to their reception. It was the most fun, even as a vendor! Gibbes even made a special appearance in the form of custom drink stirrers for the guests. It was an adorable touch and such a fun way for them to include him since he couldn’t be there for the festivities. At one point in the evening, wigs for all the guests were passed around, and it was hilarious! I love when couples can unwind and just be themselves during their day of celebration!
Their attention to detail was so wonderful, and it was so heartwarming to see it all come together for them.
